美蓓亚压力传感器有SOS式和金属箔应变片式两种。
SOS式是使用蓝宝石上硅技术及应变片，将压力作为电信号进行测量的高精度、长期稳定型压力传感器。可根据不同的测量目的连接各种不同的测量仪器，对压力进行显示、记录、控制和监视。
蓝宝石上硅(SOS)技术是指在蓝宝石（Al₂O₃单晶）衬底上生长硅薄膜的结晶（外延生长），加工成硅半导体而形成应变片的技术。 硅半导体应变片和蓝宝石衬底（压力传感器隔膜）之间的接合为原子级别，因此可获得优异的稳定性。
